Please pray with me regarding the financial challenges I am facing, knowing that in God that is a Right and Perfect Resolution and wonderful outcome for me and all concerned and that God is my Source and my Supply, my Good. I begin by stating that I am grateful for all the good I have received and am now receiving in this situation.
As is happening to so many others, my lender has frozen my home equity line and devalued my home by 40% through a drive-by appraisal which I believe to be totally inaccurate as values in my area are holding. I have a large 1st mortgage now acquired by this same bank when Washington Mutual failed. I have the right to appeal providing an appraiser can appraise the house for the same or higher appraised value at the time of the loan origination. I may be facing a forced sale of my home, foreclosure or bankruptcy and loss of a substantial portion of my income, and a large income tax bill that I may not be able to meet. This is a challenging situation. I cannot meet my financial obligations for more than about sixty days. It is a scary situation.
I am a single 62 year old Vietnam war widow with 2 grown children and 4 grandchildren. I have owned my home for many years over which I have had to draw on my equity to educate my children and myself, for medical and other personal reasons. I serve my community as the owner and operator of a B&B in my home (my primary income) and as a mediator who helps people with conflict dispute resolution which has been at times both a physical and financial challenges. My mediation income and widows benefits alone will not be adequate to meet my financial obligations in the event I have to give up my home. Presently I have limited reserves and will not be able to keep going here for very much longer. I feel grateful and blessed to have lived in this beautiful home and neighborhood for many years. I love my home and the good I have enjoyed here. If I must give up my home, I will require another job or additional mediation clients to meet my financial requirements and a suitable home.
I accept that in and through God the highest and best resolution and outcome possible, to include God?s Grace, Guidance and Protection, my abundant supply, right livelihood, a wonderful home (this or something better), and my peace of mind. And please, dear God, never let me be a burden to my children or anyone else at any time. I forgive myself and all others. I claim my good with grace and gratitude.
